Science:Heart dissection

Aim:
To learn how the heart looks inside and works.

Equipment:
Newspaper x3
A heart
Scissors
Scalpel
Tweezers
Gloves (optional)

Method:
Spread out the newspaper 3 layers thick.
Identify the right atrium and the left atrium.
Stick your finger through the pulmonary artery into the right ventricle.
Stick your finger through the Aorta into the left ventricle.
Photograph the heart before you cut it up.
Cut open both the left and right sides of the heart so you can see the left and right atria, and the left and right ventricles.
Take a photo of the dissected heart so you can see as many different parts of the heart as possible.

Results:
